What We Offer — A New Way to See Greece

All ArtExchange journeys begin and end in Greece. But that is where the similarity to other offerings ends. With the ArtExchange you will have the opportunity to explore Greece in a way most travellers never imagine and experience its people and culture in a way most visitors never know.
Our groups are small, typically accommodating eight to twelve people at a time. This small size allows for a flexible schedule, making it easier to interact and create with local artists and artisans, and to visit small, boutique wineries and enjoy local foods. It also allows us to stay in small, family run hotels where we have an opportunity to meet and interact with local residents.
Other features unique to ArtExchange journeys include:
- Visiting small musea and private collections that are often not known to other travellers;
- Offering studio-based, facilitated workshops at affordable prices;
- Participating in local art exhibits and shows;
- Spending time with local artists in their studios;
- Special opportunities for photographers to capture the landscape, festivals and special events that define Greek culture;
- Touring regional vineyards and exploring a winemaking art dating from antiquity;
- Eating at small tavérna and local restaurnants where "slow food" is a way of life.
- Travelling in the off-seasons to avoid the summer heat, crowds and inflated prices;
- Offering free time to allow travellers to explore what interests them most; and
- Providing local guides that are fluent in English and experts in their field of knowledge.
